International Children's Book Day

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya NMU Jalgaon celebrated International Children's Book Day with great enthusiasm on 2nd April 2026. The celebration was based on the theme “DEAR – Drop Everything and Read”, encouraging students to develop a love for reading.

Students from different classes actively participated in the activity by bringing their favorite books and engaging in silent reading sessions. At a scheduled time, everyone in the school paused their work and devoted time to reading, creating a joyful and peaceful reading environment.

Teachers guided students about the importance of reading in improving language skills, creativity, and knowledge. Some students also shared short stories and spoke about their favorite books.

The event successfully promoted reading habits among students and highlighted the value of books in everyday life. It was an inspiring and enjoyable experience for all.

Book Donation Campaign

Book Donation Campaign

A Book Donation Campaign was successfully organized at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya NMU Jalgaon on 1st April 2026. The campaign was conducted under the theme “Save Trees – Share Books” to promote reuse of books and help students in need.
Students from classes III to VIII actively participated in the campaign by donating their old textbooks, storybooks, and reference materials in good condition. Teachers and staff also contributed enthusiastically.
The collected books will be distributed among deserving students, encouraging the habit of sharing and reducing wastage of resources. The campaign helped spread awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of helping others.

Overall, the event was a great success and instilled values of kindness, responsibility, and sustainability among students.
